I'm giving this 2 stars instead of one because I had reasonable low expectations for this spa since it's one of the cheaper ones I researched before buying. It's still a good spa for the price, however, a few things would have deterred me from choosing this one if I'd known about them prior to purchase. One reviewer mentioned an issue with the temperature being around 100 actual degrees when the spa reads at 104 and I think this is more a design/model thing than specific to our individual unit. It definitely does not get as hot as other models I've tried. Another gripe I have is that the one listed on this site does not come with any of the other features on other sites, i.e. on Walmart the same model supposedly comes with matching steps (and is listed for less). This unit would have definitely benefited from a cover if not the steps. The only reason I purchased it from this site was because with Amazon's history of service, I expected to get it faster than if I'd bought it elsewhere, but it actually took an extra few weeks to receive it, despite me forking over the money for shipping instead of taking the free shipping that was offered (a difference, I think of about $300). Undoubtedly part of the reason was because the item, which is made in CA, was shipped to a warehouse in VA for distribution prior to being shipped back to CA. The husband and I also had no extra help in muscling the unit into our back yard, which would have been nice. The upside is that despite "only" having 12 jets, they're pretty powerful and though the temp is not as warm as I'd like, my husband is satisfied with the temp. If you're looking for a low cost unit it's not a bad purchase, but you can pay less for the same one elsewhere.
