Nov 8, 2019 -I've been doing adult coloring for about 3 years. During that time I've tried many different brands. In my experience you get what you pay for when it comes to colored pencils. That being said, I would never purchase these pencils again. Some colors are ok but others have a rough texture, so their inconsistent. That is unacceptable to me. The first best pencils I purchased were Prismacolor. I really like these still. The medium lead and the Verithin smaller lead are great for detailed work or drawing. My next favorite are Faber-Castell n the type are the Polychromos. I wish these came in a thin barrel but these go on like 'butta' (butter!). The other type is the Goldfarber by Faber-Castell. These are great pencils that go on great. The Classic Colour by Faber-Castell are a cheaper line and I don't recommend purchasing these at all. Faber-Castell pencils are made in Germany and have been around a long time. This is the extent of my experience to this point and I hope this helps you!
