I purchased this in the spring and thought I had found a good source for my daily omega-3s - 2 pills per day, no fishy smell, taste, or burps, and a good price. Unfortunately when I reordered a couple weeks ago, I opened the bottle and was greeted by the stench of dead fish - not like a little fishiness, but like I had left a salmon in the trunk of the car in summer: nasty, horrid, blech! I'm not always the brightest bulb, so I took one anyway. Big mistake! As soon as it touched my tongue, I tasted rotten fish, and the taste lingered for hours! Fortunately, returns are easy - except that when I was given the option of receiving a replacement of the same product instead of a refund, the feeble light in my dim bulb brain decided to accept the exchange, as if it would be a completely different batch just days later. Spoiler alert: it was not a different batch. Same nasty stench as soon as I opened the bottle. And now this one, being a free replacement, is not eligible for return. So my advice is to maybe give it a shot - the first bottle I had was definitely 5 stars - but if you smell fish when you open the bottle, it's from the bad batch and you should return it (mark it as defective on the return page) and get your money back. Meanwhile, I'm off to find something else.
