I measured my little poodle mix carefully according to the chart on the Web site and ordered the size indicated. Nonetheless, the harness was way too big, even adjusted to the smallest size possible. And even if it would have fit at that small size, it would have been un-wearable. All of the chest-size adjustment is on one side (one buckle) so at the smallest size, one "arm hole" is significantly smaller than the other, and the chest-piece is pulled off-center by being adjusted on one side only. In other words, the harness becomes more asymmetrical the smaller it is adjusted. The neck size is adjustable on both sides (two buckles) and fit properly. If the chest adjustment also had two buckles (one per side) it may have adjusted down to his size, and it would have remained symmetrical in any case. Too bad it didn't work out because the harness seems well-made and the concept is good, I think. Just poor execution to save a few pennies on a buckle, IMHO.
