I bought these expecting them to be: solid metal rods 35 inches height able to hold up mason jars These are NOT any of those things. Instead, they are hollow tubes which you screw together (1/2 all thread provided) - and are VERY VERY light weight! so don't expect them to hold any weight. All 4 of them came packed in one single box about 6 or 8 inches long and 2 inches deep. The items are packed in thin plastic bags with no padding, nor bags for loose part. Also the 35 inches seems to include the ground stakes? which of course are pushed into the ground and should not really be counted as part of the full height Lastly, these do not have the normal side peg to keep them from turning in a strong wind.
