I purchased this in May and it is now December - just 7 months and have called the company 3 times regarding the automatic lid not working. I have a smaller trash can with an automatic lid that I have had for several years and have never never had a problem with it. I was told to take the batteries out, wait 24 hours, replace the batteries and it would work - it does not. Now the company Nine Starts, will not answer their phone. I want this item replaced or I want my money back. Not working and having a very hard time getting "customer service" from Nine Stars - will not do business with them ever again.
