As I was getting ready to write this review, I discovered that this bike now is priced at $100 less than what I paid for it one month ago - that was just insult to injury. I had an older version of this bike that, after a little more than 13,000 miles, the computer quit. I tried to find a replacement, contacted Schwinn, searched on-line, no luck. My only option was to haul it to the dump - wasteful and extremely environmentally unfriendly. I was very happy with my last bike so I purchased this bike with high expectations and couldn't have been more disappointed. There are lots more bells and whistles, which I couldn't care less about, and am still trying to figure out how to use. I just use the bike to get in my aerobic exercise. I read the reviews and can't figure out how anyone finds the seat comfortable - it is anything but! It's a bike, is there some reason Schwinn didn't put a bike seat on it? Add to that the back of the seat being a cheap piece of plastic and angled back in such an uncomfortable position that I have to fold up a towel and put it behind me so that I can actually sit up. And it isn't adjustable so you just have to figure out a way to make it work. There are handle bars next to the display that are a complete waste unless your are an orangutan or contortionist. There is no comfortable way to use them. Although I have tightened up every screw and bolt, it still sounds like I am riding the rails with a clickity-clack sound as I am pedaling. Beyond annoying to the point that I have to wear my sound deadening headphones just to get through a workout. I will admit that I am not fond of working out, in fact I hate it but at least with my old bike I got through it without too much grief. Now though workouts are miserable. I really wish I had sent this back before the window to do so closed.
