Product finishes like a Bic or Lquid Paper Correction Fluid! It looks absolutely nothing like enamel. Dries with a roughed up texture like old wall paint. If you use it at all only do so for the tiniest of little chips. Here are pictures of how it appears on my bathroom sink after 1 coat and after 3 coats. Ya simply can't make it smooth.
