This is NOT CAST IRON. As soon as I started grinding, flecks of black paint started coming off into my mixture and tainted the entire batch of expensive herbs/resin I was working with. Not only did I get ripped off $20 for this product, but it absolutely ruined another $20 in high grade resins and herbs.
