This product seems geared to getting you to install their app so you can be farmed for data. There's no opting out if you use the app. You have to create an account with a valid email to get information from your toothbrush. If you don't use the app, you have to remove it because it starts giving you alerts...not to promote hygiene and health, but to let you know you haven't connected to give access to your data. It would have helped if my expensive toothbrush had noted anywhere that internet was required for all advertised features. It's like a graphing calculator that needs internet to work.
