I purchased this unit less than a year ago. I would have rated it 5 stars until it stopped working in the middle of a spinach pineapple smoothie with NO frozen fruit or ice. The motor literally just stopped working. I use this several times a week for small a one serving smoothie, it has not been overused. Upon trying to use the warranty services, I am told there is a 19.95 fee that has to be sent to cover replacement shipping. I am unwilling to invest this much money into a product that only cost 35.00 and will be purchasing a different brand. I am disappointed in this product. I had a blender that did the job for 8 years until we broke the glass pitcher. I will be going back to that brand.
