What is the author and/or publisher trying to pull? This is the same identical book to the Joy of Smoking and Salt Curing! Not similar, but IDENTICAL! The only difference is the cover and that the Joy book is about half what this book is. Plus, this book isn't really a "complete guide". Heck, it's not even a guide! This book only covers one aspect of one aspect of long term meat preservation. Not only that, but he uses Morton's Sugar Cure in nearly all recipes. Guess what? Morton's quit offering Sugar Cure years ago, so they just republished the Joy of Smoking and Salt Curing and never bothered to update this book. Feels kinda underhanded if you ask me!
