I agree with a previous review of this mold. This is not a good mold for resin casting. I bought it on the assumption that it was a "good starter mold" only to find that the pieces I cast came out dull and matte, because that's the finish of the mold itself. If you want a shiny finish on your pieces, get the Deep Flex mold, or also some silicone molds have a shiny finish as well. I used silicone ice cube trays and they come out beautifully. No amount of treating or conditioning THIS mold will make your pieces shiny. Know what to buy. Hope this was helpful. :)
