I was so excited to find this after realizing buying sod for my small patch of lawn would be way out of our budget - so much cheaper! Followed all the instructions to the tee. Roto-tilled, watered diligently, and several weeks later it's just a patch of the green papery substrate that's disintegrating. Not a single thing has grown except a couple unrelated weeds. Birds feasted on some of the seed after it was rolled out, but of what remained, none of the seed germinated. I am suspicious that I may have received an "old" roll that sat in a hot warehouse for too long, but super disappointed in this product. It was a complete waste of money for me, and of course I can't return it, since it's now shredded in my backyard. At least the birds were happy? Update: a few weeks later and a few blades of grass have finally grown, so now I have a sad little patch of disintegrating green paper with a shoot of green every half inch or so. Far cry from a lawn but thought I would at least update my review. Still don't recommend.
