If you are checking out the reviews, pay attention to the ones after March 2014. The new update changed everything and turned a previously great and entertaining game into a death watch. The developers added a grim reaper and took over control of the game. Ultimately if watching your families die is not your idea of fun, your only option is to delay it by real money purchases. There is some orb stuff built in to delay the inevitable death of your families, but the bottom line is if you don't pay, they die. If developing families and relationships to watch them die is your thing, then this is for you. If you are looking for fun family entertainment and enjoyable fantasy, this isn't it any more. The reviews before March 2014 are accurate. It was a great game. It isn't anymore!!
