This item DOES NOT COME AS ADVERTISED. I was looking forward to surprising our daughter with this magical gift When to my dismay I opened the box and found an extremely poor quality elf in a clear plastic bag. I did not receive the "elf on the shelf" box or the book as noted in the description. So disappointed to have spent $30 on this product.
