This Mikasa flatware was ordered on November 25, 2020 and received on November 27, 2020. Today is December 10, 2020. When we received the item, I hand washed all pieces before the first use. Since that point, we have been putting this in the dishwasher as it is dishwasher safe. There are only 2 of us, so the dishwasher does not get run daily. We rinse the flatware before putting it in the dishwasher so that there is no food on it and use quality dishwasher detergent and rinse aid. Since receiving the flatware, the dishwasher has been run perhaps 3 times. When I emptied the dishwasher this morning, this is what I found on several pieces. I do not recommend this item. We replaced our prior flatware with the Mikasa for the simple fact that it was old and was beginning to rust. We already threw away the box or else I would return this and get my money back. We went from the frying pan into the fire. Save your money and buy something else.
