When first used, they were very stiff and I had to get use to the arch support. After a week or so, no problem. But then it started getting weriod in other spots on both feet. The minor discomfort moved around and only lasted a few days to a week. I figured it was just part of "breaking" them in. About a month now and it's time for them to go. My feet hurt more in one spot now then when I started. If you are looking for comfort, these are not them. Maybe just for support. I also used these with a new pair of everyday shoes a size larger than normal. Maybe that had something to do with it as my feet adjusted to the new shoes.
