I loved this seat when we got it, it was much easier to use and clean than the potty seat we used before. Unfortunately, the adult seat is made of wood (the child insert is plastic) and after a few weeks using it the wood became warped. If you have small children using this they WILL get urine between the adult seat and the child insert. I got this seat to allow my kids more independence in the potty process so I am not interested in having to wipe the seat down every single time they use the toilet to avoid the wood from warping. As a result, I am now left with a yellowish ring of warped wood in the adult seat that makes me cringe whenever I have guests as it looks like I never clean my toilet! Unless they start making both the adult and child insert out of plastic I do not recommend this seat.
