After 1 month owning this TV, I have bought myself a DAC to have the TV connected through Toslink (optical output) to it to get sound through my active speakers. The optical output keeps on dropping the signal. I have alao tried the optical output with an AV receiver, same issue. TCL customer support is an absolute joke, with me going back and forth with them and being asked every 2 days, additional. They asked me why do I need a DAC connected to the TV!?! I have spent 4 hrs in total on the phone, just for thrm to tell me that connceting an AV Receiver on DAC to the optical output of thr TV will not guarntee it worning....absolutely mindblowing! Avoid at all costs!
