Powder contains unknown metal (or metals), and that's not all...
The recent 2 lbs for $20.99 batch is extremely low quality and contains potentially dangerous levels of some unknown metal(s). On top of that, both packages were visibly dirty and partially open upon receipt. I noticed from the first tbsp that it was unusually gritty and contained visible pieces of something other than beet root powder. After some thought, I decided to run a magnet through a few tbsp just to see what it might pick up. Surprisingly, it picked up quite a bit of material. Video of magnetic powder and photo of final extraction included. I realize that beet root is a natural source of iron, but it is not particularly high in iron, and after weighing out the metals I extracted from the tbsps I tested, the weight was in clear excess of what would be expected in that amount of beet root powder. It is unfortunate that this item cannot be returned, as it is literally contaminated by an unknown metal or metals in excessive quantities. This entire batch should be destroyed.
