Sophomore Slump
Season 2 lacks all the charm and enjoyment of season 1. The chemistry between Nathan and Nora carries the show yet in S2 they split them up for most of the season. Amazon bills this as the #1 half hour comedy yet there is very little comedy this season and it's more a bad conspiracy movie. The subtle subplots that made you think about issues in season one is now just hitting you over the head with them. The next concern is that the big political statement they are trying to make just doesn't make sense. Having the evil corporate conservative guy get rid of voters in the states that conservatives win doesn't make any sense at all. The gross assumption that poor people don't vote conservative even in Conservative states is particularly dumb.
