I unfortunately received a defective one. It did seem to work well for a few months until I heard faint crackling noises. Finally tracked to the power strip, the light was rapidly fluttering and a lamp attached surged/dropped when turned on. Pulled the hazard. Although it occurred well less than a year, I waited too long to file a warranty claim. Only about $10, what I actually lost was trust in Amazon Basics electrical products. Feel lucky nothing serious happened.
