While this product is aesthetically pleasing, it’s advertised as BPA free. If you turn the bottle upside down, there will be a sign that says 7 on it. That stands as a catch all for Polycarbonate. #7 plastics are not meant for reuse. Using this bottle over and over for refills...The chemicals will leach into your water. #7 plastics are also well known to contain BPA. This labeling is conflicting. This also is not a recyclable plastic. This has a bunch of random different materials all put together to create this kind of plastic that are no heavily regulated. This is an overpriced water bottle made out of toxic unknown materials manufactured in China. Buyer beware.
