Just keep it away from water and humidity and it might be ok
Cheap, cheap, cheap. This thing is mostly made out of plastic, but the one place where it's metal, it's rusting through barely five months after installation. It's never been exposed to chemical cleaners and it doesn't even get wet... it's only exposed to the normal dampness and humidity from showering.
As they say, you get what you pay for.
EDIT: I came back in 2022 to knock off more stars but I am already at 1. The "chrome" around the head, the thing where the most water comes out, is turning green and crusty and flaking off. I still cannot tell if the head is plastic or some super extra thin brass, but it feels very light. I think 6 years is way too soon for green corrosion and chrome to start coming off of a fixture that is designed to be constantly exposed to water and moisture. Again, I do not use harsh chemicals to clean it, however it now looks so disgusting with the green and red corrosion, cleaning it is virtually pointless.
