I purchased after reading the great reviews. I was shocked that tv ears had to directly face the transmitter and no more than 15 feet or it didnt work. For example, you turn your head to talk to someone in the room, that would break the connection and the sound would crackle. If you are listening to tv and you are reading a newspaper. The paper would break the connection and the sound would crackle. This technology is over 20 years old. Bluetooth has been around for years and TV Ears are still selling old technology for $80. TV Ears with Bluetooth would fix all these problems. Very dispointing that TV Ears are ripping off our elderly with expensive and poor technology.
