We liked the carrying and stand features on this case. Unfortunately when my daughter dropped it for the first time, it hit the corner of the case and instead of bouncing, it cracked the glass badly from one end to the other, shattering it. The pictures don't show as bad as it looks due to glare. You can see the small stuff on the corner of the orange case and it did this much damage. As I examined it further there's a crack on the inside corner of the case. The hit was just to the right of it. I have had several types of cases over the years and the kids have used and dropped them on occasion and no cracks - the cases were the thin plastic type and faux leather type. We got this one thinking it would be more heavy duty protection for her very own iPad and kid proof, but it obviously is not. We would like an explanation from the company. Does it go through quality control and child proof tests? Perhaps we got a defected one but this was totally unexpected and shocking. Plus calling it Shatter Proof is misleading and false advertising. The plug-in is also very hard to get to.
