Despite excellent bright scene and bright room picture quality consistent with the glowing reviews from RTINGS and others, the unit that we received has terrible backlight bleed. Some backlight bleeding is normal and expected on an LED TV, particularly at this price point, but this is so bad that it makes the unit unusable for watching dark scenes in even a moderately lit room. Since we purchased the unit for use in a home theater, this is an absolute deal breaker. To make matters worse, Hisense customer service has thus far been unresponsive. I will update if we ever hear back from them.
