Beware. We bought this in January 2013. Some winters since then have been very mild so it did not have heavy use. This year we had more snow. My husband was using it a few weeks ago and it made a weird noise like something crunched inside, it started to smell and then to smoke. He turned it off and set it in a pile of snow to cool down. Thankfully it was well away from the house or anything else that could catch on fire. My husband went to talk to the neighbor outside and suddenly they looked over and saw 5ft flames in our yard! I have attached photos of what was left of this snow blower. I do not recommend this product.
