Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased this bed after reading reviews and believing that I was buying a quality, safe product. Long story short, 18 months after buying the product, two springs have snapped off of the spring frame. Upon discussion with the company, I am past my one year warranty, so I have to pay to replace the spring frame (plus $25 for shipping). I have no time for a company that doesn’t stand behind its products and won’t acknowledge that springs on a crib frame should last more than 18 months. My child is less than 25 pounds, and a company should strive to make a product for babies that doesn’t result in safety issues from 18 months of normal wear and tear. My first email to the company received a response and then once I complained after seeing an invoice for the replacement products, several emails from me, all of which were polite, have been ignored. This seems like an otherwise fine product, but when you spend over $350 on a crib, you are hoping that the basic parts will last more than 18 months. Personally I prefer to spend my money with companies that get it and do the right thing by their customers, so I will be looking elsewhere in the future. And I rarely write reviews, but I feel like this is my only way of allowing others to avoid making the same mistake that I did.
