This new updated version works OK for me. I use it on my Fire tablet. It now actually rings (usually) when I get a call. It didn't ring on the old version. But now I can't see pics that I've sent or pics people send me. They are just those spinning "loading" circles. I tried to contact customer service and about a week later got a response saying that it was fixed... Well it isn't. Same problems. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it to see if that would help but it didn't. The wallpaper you try to upload won't show up either. There are more annoying ads on here now too that will pop up and cover your entire screen. Overall, it isn't terrible and it does work usually but it definitely needs some improvement. Update: They finally fixed the picture problems Update #2: Fast forward to today 04/12/23- I didn't use the app for a few days and lost my number. Now they want me to PAY for a new number. NOPE. I am officially done with Textme. It's too bad cause it used to be a good app.
