The packaging is the original box packaging without any Styrofoam or anything in the box to help cushion the product. It arrived with multiple scratches on the sides. The product itself is exactly what you pay for - cheap. The instructions are poor. I've never used so many dowels to put a product together. There is no thickness to any of the pieces and if you put the little plastic shelf tabs in the wrong place and want to change your mind, forget about it; you will have a very difficult time pulling it out if you're able to do it at all. I bought this because money is tight and I needed something that I could move easily when the time comes. I do not expect this product to last very long. If I could do it again, I would not buy this. I strongly encourage you to learn from my mistake and buy something else.
