The accuracy of this hygrometer is terrible. It consistently reports humidity at almost 20% below the correct reading. Attached is a photo of the ThermoPro along with two other hygrometers - the Planet Waves brand shown in the photo was designed for keeping in an acoustic guitar case, and the other is a more expensive Peak Meter model. As you can see in the photo the ThermoPro reads 10% while the mid priced Planet Waves device reads 27% and the more expensive Peak model reads 28.1%. Over the course of a week the measurements of the ThermoPro varied from between 10% and 20% below the other devices (which always remained within 2% of each other). Don't waste your money if an accurate reading (as opposed to a relative reading) is important to you. This devices proves that you get what you pay for.
