Please taste food before you use this. I've been using this dish for a few weeks and loved it. It's extremely sturdy and suctions well. Well, last week my son refused to eat his food even though he's usually a really good eater so I decided to eat his left overs. This food tasted like soap! I chalked it up to not thoroughly rinsing and didn't give it another thought. The next time my son refused to eat I noticed it was from the same dish. I tasted the food and again it tasted like soap! After hand washing, dish washing, scrubbing, boiling, and doing everything I can, I still can't get the soap residue out of the dish. It seems as if it has been leeched into the product itself. I don't know if it's something I did wrong or if I received a bad product, but please taste your child's food before you feed them from this product. I feel horrible that I've been feeding my son soap-food. The soap taste lingers and makes me feel queasy, so I can't imagine how awful it must be for my child. He also has been getting on and off diarrhea that we couldn't pin-point. I don't know if it's from the soap residue but we will be able to find out soon. This product is going in the trash immediately! Be careful!
