I have the chaise part of the futon, and I figured, why not get the futon itself? First of all, this futon is stunning. Everyone that comes over loves the couch and thinks it looks amazing. It has a very simple, yet elegant look. The assembly took less than five minutes. It was pretty simple and it's hard to mess it up. There is one major qualm I have about this futon, however. When I extend it into "bed mode", if you lay completely on the "back" side, the futon almost "tips" over. What I'm getting at here is that the futon balance when it's in "bed mode" is off. I think the way to improve this is to have screw on legs for the back of the couch that will prevent it from tipping over. Like imagine a big tube with a screw head on the tip, and you can screw it in tool-less. It would be a simple addition and I don't think it would add too much cost to the futon. This is the only thing that prevented the futon from getting 5 stars. Other than that, I love it! USAGE UPDATE: After 9 months of NORMAL use, the futon has started to falter. I have not used this futon for sleeping and I don't have guests over too often. I have no idea how this happened and I have no idea how to fix it. It seems like the foam has collapsed on one side, and over-expanded on the other. I am disappointed that it broke down after 9 months. I have withdrawn my 4 star rating and have changed it to a 2 star rating. I have uploaded a picture of the problem.
