I like the fan, good features, quiet, yadda yadda, I had a fan like this in the past so I know how it works and ts great. The fan gets two stars because of what was actually shipped, please see the picture. Black base, black blades, black stand, black fan guard, WHITE MOTOR. I ordered a black fan because it will be in my bedroom and I don't want bright white anything in my bedroom (picture is not my bedroom). I don't think the quality inspectors were paying attention the day my fan was packaged.
