It appears to be a Samsung battery but I truly question that it is. Unlike the others, it did arrive in a Samsung box with a plastic case. I put it in my phone and it charged quite easily. I received some phone calls. Then I tried to make one. Initially I thought that something was wrong with my phone. However it seems that it's not my phone but rather the battery IN my phone because I put the old one back in and it worked. Something in this battery is making my phone glitch and I hope I haven't ruined it. I looked at the two batteries and there you can see the small differences. I really do not think this is a Samsung battery. They sure try to make it look like one however it does not work with my phone. I didn't listen to the reviews when I bought mine. I hope you will read and listen to mine. BUYER BEWARE.
