This bathmat is dangerously slippery! I purchased it for an elderly person, and could not even attempt to bathe them on it. Even feeling it was slippery. The suction cups on the bottom hold the mat securely to the bottom of the bathtub, but on the top, where a person would step into the tub, the mat is very smooth and slick! After returning this mat, we found one in a local pharmacy called "Carex Non-Slip Bath Mat" which is far superior and is actually non-slip! It also is contoured to fit perfectly under a bath seat or bench. Just tried the Carex today and it works great! I do not recommend the Gorilla Grip mat to anyone.
