I would have given these at least four stars before today. They are bright and work well as far as when they come on and go off. Earlier this evening I heard a pop and went to investigate. I found the cover side under the dining room table - six feet from the outlet - and the actual plug side is blackened as well. Not sure what happened to make it literally blow its top all of a sudden, but I quickly unplugged and threw away the other ones.
