This worked great... for a little bit. Then my computer warned me there were errors on the drive. Then when I tried to use Disk Utility to check it, the disk failed and wouldn't mount. The data on it had been backed up to a cloud service, which was lucky. In the end I had to reformat the drive entirely. Within a couple of weeks it failed again. At that point I was ONLY using it to be a local folder for a cloud service, so I got lucky again. Now it failed for a third time. When I tried to use Toshiba's online RMA process to return it, I got stuck in a looping form that never advances to asking me for my information (I've tried multiple browsers). I've had good luck with Toshiba's drives in the past, but this one was expensive garbage. DO NOT BUY.
