Turn off auto updates
Turn off auto updates!!!! The current version doesn't work on Kindle fire 8.
Everything was going hunky-dory earlier this evening at 6:30 when I was out of wifi range and watching a downloaded episode. Got home and it connected for an auto update. Bye bye Netflix.
Now it simply goes "unable to connect to the Netflix".
I have done 3 hard boots and 2 complete reinstalls. I have it on several other devices (Android and IOS) and they're working fine so I'm wondering if it's simply Amazon hating on competition.
