I'm SO tired of the f-word
I gave this author two stars because it is a good story. I took off three stars for the following:
1) poor editing/proofreading - at one point Deborah Strong is referred to as Deborah Blunt a couple of times. Incorrect use of I/me and she/her a few times
2) inappropriate and disgusting sex references. Tell the reader two characters had an affair, we don't need a graphic picture.
3) complete and total overuse of the f-word. Instead of utilizing the vastly complex and beautiful English language to describe anger, fear, disgust, rage, bitterness, and so forth, the author beats the reader to death with the f-word. When did we replace actual writing talent with incredible overuse of foul language? And why? It ruined a good story.
