Not all it's cracked up to be
It's a very cheap media player. I bought it strictly for playing music and it has issues doing that. First, shuffle won't play any music past an index number of 255. I have a little over 1,000 tracks and the only way to play them is to keep the player on sequential play. I've contacted the company about this, no reply. Second, if you decide to plug in an additional microSD card, be warned that your music "library" is only recognized on the players internal memory. You have to navigate to the other "directory", open it up and then select a music title to play from the SD card. Also, the 255 limit shuffle applies to this directory also. Third, there is no "continue from last song" if the player goes to sleep and you turn it back on. Navigation through the menus is a bit clunky. Also, if you want to "scroll" through your list of music, it's very slow. If you wanted to get to file #500, it'd take about 5 minutes. The device itself feels pretty flimsy. The plastic is definitely cheap, the buttons have a harsh feel to them when you press them. The included earphones are worthless. The sound is absolutely horrible and there's no Left/Right identification on them. You will need to buy a decent pair if you don't have some extra ones already. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this. If the company decides to update the firmware and offer a better music interface, then it might be worth it.
