Disappointed and then some
This book seemed to have it all. Heartbreak and redemption. I found it to be unremitting depressing. From start to finish nothing but sorrow. The scene of the animal death was truly ghastly. To me there were also a lot of lose ends. The ending just chopped things off. I doubt I'll 'll be reading anymore of her books.
