Last night as I was putting my beardie to bed, I noticed my basking bulb sort of swaying inside the light fixture. I turned it off and waited until morning to check it - knowing I would be turning it back on for the day. When I removed the light fixture, I heard a loud pop and saw a bright jolt of electricity. Mind you, the fixture is turned off! The entire neck of the basking bulb MELTED inside the socket. MELTED! Not broke, no it melted! I was using a 150 watt bulb - as recommended for this size fixture. If I wouldn't have caught this, it could have not only killed my bearded dragon but burnt down my house that hold me, my wife, my son, 4 dogs, 3 cats, and of course, Fitz my bearded dragon. This is a hazard! Flukers should NOT be selling light fixtures!! This is also not the first Fluker's item I have used that was either dangerous or just did not work. They are horrible products! I have learned my lesson to spend the extra money if I want my bearded dragon alive and my house to stay standing. Get your crap together Fluker's! This is very bad!!!!
