This worked for about a month, then it began running in 3-second bursts. I read the pamphlet, googled some troubleshooting tips, nothing worked. I'd purchased the Asurion insurance for it, contacted them, they directed me back to Black and Decker saying that it was still covered under the manufacturers warranty. Contacted the number they gave me for it and it was an automated nightmare. I just don't have time to spend an entire afternoon chasing logistics for a $40 sweeper that I used once a day. This is the reason I spend a couple extra dollars on the insurance. Very disappointed in this product. I basically spent forty bucks to rent a floor sweeper for a month and threw it away. During the month it worked, it worked great. It was used on kitchen tile and laminate flooring as a daily sweep-up, in between thorough cleanings. Perfect for that purpose.
