This is the second dust buster type vacuum that I’ve had to throw out after less than two years use. This is real built-in obsolescence. The manufacturer produces a lump of plastic that cannot be recycled with a toxic lithium battery that only real purpose is to defraud you $60-$100 for a product that will be useless not long after you purchase it and to pollute the planet. This junk will end up in landfills and will still be there in 500 year’s time. Archeologists of the future will dig it up and the name Black & Decker will be synonymous with ‘lethal polluter’. They will have a special exhibit in the museum of 21st century criminal perpetrators of ecological catastrophe. Spare yourself and the planet and buy a good quality vacuum with a cord instead.
