I believe this app is being used to fraud the elderly So some random person called my mom today and said she was from Apple (now i learned it was Amazon)and something was wrong with her account. They aksed if she had any contact with people in Florida and a couple other states. My mom was confused because she tried to be one of those annoying get out and vote texters, so she thought it was legit, but didn't stop to think ...ummm I don't have anything apple (Team Android and PC at this hosue). The lady advised that she needed to download this app so they could her help her get her account corrected. Gave my mom step by step instructions on how to download the app and my mom followed. This this app allows you to remote in to a laptop, phone, tablet, so when you download it you give them access. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I'm just thankful that it was just my mom's tablet in which she uses only to plays free games and it's not connected to any of her financial information. I'm so thankful that she called to ask about it.... just wish should have called before she downloaded the app, but we have a game plan going forward... if you're not sure, get their name/number and tell them you want to research and get back to them before doing anything. They were trying to get her for her💸 💸..... that's the story I'm telling. So please tell your trusting loved ones to beware.
