The stands are just a very small table to place your speaker upon. There is nothing to ensure the speakers stay in place. There is an extra mount hole, so you could drill into to your speakers to hold them down, but that seems dangerous and well, kinda dumb, when Kipsch has a mounting screw in the back of the speaker. Though the title says, "Works with Klipsch" there is nothing specific to Klisch or any speaker manufacturer to support the speaker. It's just a small table upon which to place your speaker. The instructions suggest museum wax, but if you live in a hot climate, that stuff will become runny and it will ruin finished wood surfaces. I'm a bit disappointed.
