It started off nice. However, after about 3 months, it seemed like it would not create the pressure seal. We thought it was probably our user error because it was not all the time. Then it seemed to increase, and you never new if it would seal or not. My wife noticed that the screws were loose by the handle. This is a problem because the screw heads are on the inside of the lid (see picture). We ended up having to tighten them because it seemed that that was possibly the place where the plastic inner piece (see picture) would not seal. After 10 months, I emailed T-fal, and they first asked for proof purchase. After receiving that, they said that I would have to pay to send it to them, and they would decide if there was a problem. Then they would fix it if there was a problem. However, what if by chance they do it once and it sealed, particularly because we just tightened the screws again. What a bother. We just decided to deal with it. Other people seemed to like it, so maybe it was just ours. I would recommend that if you buy this, pay the extra for the no hassle warranty by Amazon so you can just return it and get another one.
